Description

Head to the home of the British Grand Prix and get ready for the thrill of a lifetime during this Ferrari 430 driving experience. The session will start with a short briefing on safety, track driving techniques and circuit racing lines from a fully qualified instructor in preparation for the drive ahead. Get behind the wheel of the magnificent 400 bhp Ferrari 430 coupe and take it for a six mile spin around the Silverstone circuit. Paddle through the gears as you put the Ferrari through its paces around Silverstone’s famous corners. This is the perfect chance for a petrol head to experience the 430’s snappy handling and colossal power first-hand.

Availability: Available for morning slots only at 8.30am, 9.30am and 10.30am. Runs on weekends, at least one date every month throughout the year. The circuit closes between mid-December and mid-January for the winter shut-down. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice, heavy rain or high winds) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Please call the venue if in any doubt. Duration: Expect to be at the venue for up to one and a half hours, including a briefing and 5.7 miles of driving. Please arrive 30-40 minutes prior to the start time to attend the essential safety briefing. Numbers On Day: Briefings are shared with up to 24 other participants. Exclusively share the Ferrari with the instructor. Spectators: Spectators are welcome and can bring a camera to record the experience. Please note that pets are not permitted at any circuits. Dress Code: Dress warmly and comfortably in trousers and a long-sleeved top. Wear flat-soled shoes and bring driving gloves if possible. A helmet will be provided. Guidelines: Silverstone lies on the A43 between Brackley and Towcester and is accessible from junction 15a of the M1, junction 10 (South) or 11 (North) of the M40. Follow the signs for Silverstone Circuit and drive through the main entrance at West 5 to the security gates. Security will then direct you to Drive Silverstone. Restrictions: Maximum weight 18 stone. Minimum height is 5’2”; maximum height is 6’6”. Participants need to be aged 21 or over and have held a full manual driving licence for at least three years, to present on the day. Other Info: When booking expect to be offered the choice of buying a collision damage waiver at £20 to £40 additional charge. Please note there is no obligation to purchase this optional waiver.
