Hop aboard the tall ship Pelican, a traditional square rigger for a sailing experience to remember. Soak in unique views of the Jurassic Coast, England’s first World Heritage site. With the option of getting involved with setting sail, working the lines and steering the ship, or simply unwinding on deck and enjoying the scenery, you simply can’t go wrong. Meet in the morning, then set off on an amazing voyage along the Jurassic coastline and take in the panorama of some of the most awe-inspiring natural landmarks the region has to offer. To ensure everyone’s appetite is also looked after, a tasty buffet lunch then tea and cake in the afternoon are also included – what could be better?

Availability: Weekend dates in April, May, August and September. Weather: Duration: Spend the whole day on the ship from 9am -5pm. Numbers On Day: Share the experience with up to 34 other keen sailors. Spectators: Dress Code: All specialist kit is provided (but bring your own wet weather gear if you have it). Please bring towels, sun cream and warm spare clothes (no jeans). Good quality flat-heeled shoes (no heels nor flip-flops) are essential. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age is 12 (anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a participating adult) and maximum age is 80.
