Take a pilgrimage to one of the UK’s most historic racing circuits with a breathtaking Aston Martin driving thrill at Donington Park. Be in the enviable position of selecting the V8 Vantage favoured by the world’s favourite super spy James Bond. Following a short briefing and demonstration laps with a professional instructor, put your foot down and take the wheel for six glorious miles for this once-in-a-lifetime Aston Martin driving thrill.

Availability: Available in 2017 on the 25 August and 27 October only. Dates fill very quickly, so we recommend booking 12 weeks in advance. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice, heavy rain or high winds) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Please call the venue if in any doubt. Duration: Expect to be at the circuit for up to two hours, including a briefing and six miles driving the Aston. Please arrive 30 minutes in advance of the booked time to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: All in-car tuition is on a one-to-one basis. Briefings are held in groups of up to 30 people. There might be other vehicles on the track at the same time. Spectators: Friends and family are welcome and there are excellent spectating and catering facilities on-site. Please note that animals are not allowed at the circuit, with the exception of guide dogs. Dress Code: Wear trousers, a long-sleeved shirt and flat-soled shoes. A helmet will be provided. Guidelines: Exit the M1 at junction 23a or junction 24 and follow the signs for East Midlands Airport (A453). Drive past the traffic lights at the main airport entrance and follow the brown tourist signs for Donington Park. On entering Donington Park follow the brown tourist signs for ‘pits and paddocks’ and make your way to the Paddock Suite in the main paddock area through the security gate. Restrictions: Minimum age is 18. Maximum weight is 20 stone. Minimum height is 5’0”, maximum 6’5”. A full British or international manual driving licence held for at least 12 months must be produced on the day in order to participate. Other Info: The race circuit is MSA approved for quality and safety, was established in 1978 and is a founder member of ‘The Association of Racing Drivers Schools’ with all instructors being ARDS qualified. One lap of the circuit is 1.95 miles. When booking expect to be offered the choice of buying a collision damage waiver at £20 to £40 additional charge. Please note there is no obligation to purchase this optional waiver.
