Description

Learn to surf off the North Devon coast under the guidance of experienced coaches. Expect to have the most fun whilst learning all the basics of surfing and be sure to be standing by the end of the lesson! Coaching techniques are altered depending on strengths and physical abilities of individual participants and depending on ability, learn either the two stage, three stage or ‘straight to feet’ technique. The ‘catch the wave with you’ technique is also taught, and really does give that special feeling of riding a wave. Practise new skills together and get any specialist tips from the coaches, who are Surf GB accredited and have a Certificate of Excellence on tripadvisor.

Availability: Available daily, except for Christmas and New Year. Weather: This experience is only cancelled in the event of extreme weather. Please call ahead if in any doubt. Lessons are booked around tides and conditions that are suitable for different abilities and can be moved to other nearby beaches if needed. Duration: Lasts for two and a half hours. Please arrive a few minutes in advance of the booked time. Numbers On Day: Share the experience with up to four other budding surfers. Spectators: There is an on-site cafe for spectators. Dress Code: Bring swimwear, towel, hat and a warm change of clothes each. All other specialist equipment, sunscreen and water is provided. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age is five and the maximum age is 85. Budding surfers for this experience need to be reasonably fit, confident swimmers. Other Info:
