Want to get a taste of surfing without having to brave the sea? This thrilling indoor surfing experience in Cardiff is the perfect way to pick up the basics and it’s just like the real thing. Kick off with a welcome briefing and once kitted out in your wetsuit, hit the surf – one by one, hop onto the surf simulation machine and start off horizontally on a bodyboard. After mastering the water jets horizontally, it’s time to progress to a full stand up surfboard. Learn how to catch a wave and go from paddling to standing with the tuition of a professional instructor and after a while, feel the immense thrill of this increasingly popular extreme water sport. Availability: Seven days a week throughout the year, excluding the Christmas and New Year period. Weather: Duration: Lasts around 90 minutes including a briefing and time to surf. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the booked time to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: Share with up to eight other keen surfers. Spectators: Spectators are welcome and there are toilets and a cafe on-site. Dress Code: All specialist equipment is provided, but please bring swimwear, a towel and £1 coin for the locker. Guidelines: Restrictions: Min age is 12. Under 18’s must have a medical consent form signed by a parent or guardian in order to participate.
