Go for a spin in the commanding McLaren MP4-12C at Leicestershire’s Prestwold circuit, a driving experience which is sure to satisfy any avid supercar fanatic! Kick off with a welcome introduction and safety discussion courtesy of a qualified instructor. After hearing about essential racing lines and track driving techniques it’s time for the fun to start – climb behind the wheel of the beastly 592 bhp McLaren and take it four jaw-dropping laps, negotiating every bend, straight, twist and turn of Prestwold’s challenging circuit. At the end of the experience, receive a commemorative driving certificate.

Availability: At least two weekend dates per month, as well as occasional weekdays. The circuit is closed from early December to mid-January. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. high winds, ice or heavy rain) which would make driving at speed dangerous. The venue will get in touch if the experience is cancelled for any reason. Duration: Expect to be at the circuit for around one hour, including a briefing and driving laps (driving time is up to ten minutes in total). Please arrive one hour in advance of the booked time to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: All in-car tuition is on a one-to-one basis although briefings may be shared. Spectators: Spectators are welcome. Children must be closely supervised at all times and dogs are not permitted. Dress Code: Wear trousers, a long-sleeved shirt and flat-soled shoes. A safety helmet is provided. Guidelines: Prestwold Hall is east of Loughborough and accessible from the A6 (take the B675) and the M1 motorway (exit at junction 23, take the A512 to Loughborough, the A60 towards Nottingham and then the B676 and B675). Restrictions: Minimum height is 5′, maximum is 6’5”. Maximum weight is 19 stone. A full British or international manual driving licence must be produced on the day in order to participate. Other Info: When booking expect to be offered the choice of buying a collision damage waiver at £20 to £40 additional charge. Please note there is no obligation to purchase this optional waiver.
