Take the wheel of the ultimate pocket rocket, the Ariel Atom. With no roof or doors, a top speed of 150 mph and a 0 – 60 mph time of just 2.7 seconds, this car is unlike any other and is likely to blow any car aficionado’s socks off! Commence with a welcome and safety briefing from an expert instructor with years of experience driving crazy cars at this professional track. Then take the wheel for four stunning laps in the super quick Ariel Atom around the 1.8 mile circuit at Prestwold. To conclude, take home a certificate as a special memento of an amazing driving experience.

Availability: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the year, at least two dates per month. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. high winds, ice or heavy rain) which would make driving at speed dangerous. The venue makes contact if the experience is cancelled for any reason. Duration: Expect to be at the circuit for up to an hour, including briefing and driving laps. Please arrive 45 minutes in advance of the booked time to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: All in-car tuition is on a one-to-one basis although briefings may be shared. Spectators: Spectators are welcome. Children must be closely supervised at all times. The venue has an American-style diner with food, refreshments and a view of some of the action. Dogs are not permitted. Dress Code: Dress comfortably (and warmly in winter) with trousers, long sleeves and narrow, flat-soled shoes to negotiate pedals that are close together. A helmet is provided. Guidelines: Prestwold Hall is east of Loughborough and accessible from the A6 (take the B675) and the M1 motorway (exit at junction 23, take the A512 to Loughborough, the A60 towards Nottingham and then the B676 and B675). Restrictions: Minimum height is 4’10”, maximum is 6’5”. Maximum weight is 19 stone. A full British or international manual driving licence must be produced on the day in order to participate. Other Info: Feel free to spend the day at the venue and watch other driving experiences taking place. When booking expect to be offered the choice of buying a collision damage waiver at £20 to £40 additional charge. Please note there is no obligation to purchase this optional waiver.
