Drive the fantastic Nissan GT-R and either the Aston Martin V8 Vantage or DB9 at Lydden Hill in Kent. Aston Martin’s are beautifully crafted modern classic cars with great power, superb handling and phenomenal acceleration. The Nissan, as the UK’s fastest car in its price range, reaches 62 mph in just 3.5 seconds and has a top speed of 195 mph. Start off with a briefing on driving techniques and racing lines. Next, take the wheel of either the Aston Martin DB9 or V8 Vantage for six miles around the track. Step into the Nissan GT-R for six further miles of unforgettable driving. End with collection of a driving certificate.

Availability: Runs at least one Friday or Saturday every two months throughout the year. As availability is limited, please book at least three months in advance for this popular experience. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions like ice, heavy rain or high winds, when driving at speed might become dangerous. Expect to be contacted in advance if the experience is cancelled for any reason. Duration: Lasts approximately two hours. This includes briefing, safety guidance, driving time and debrief. Please arrive 45 minutes in advance of the booked time to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: Up to 30 people take part. Briefings are shared with a group. Other than for demonstration laps, all driving is held on a one-to-one basis. Spectators: Spectators are welcome. Children must be closely supervised at all times. The venue offers good facilities for spectators and drivers. Pets are not allowed. Dress Code: Wear trousers, a long-sleeved shirt and narrow, flat-soled shoes, as the pedals in these cars can be close together. Wear natural fibres like cotton, rather than synthetics like nylon. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum height is 5’2”, maximum is 6’6”. Maximum weight is 18 stone. A full British or international must be presented on the day to ensure participation. When booking expect to be offered the choice of buying a collision damage waiver at £20 to £40 additional charge. Please note there is no obligation to purchase this optional waiver.
