Prepare to be thrilled by the freedom and acceleration of a high-speed passenger ride for two at Lydden Hill in Kent, a thrilling driving circuit. Don’t fret about having to drive a supercar as a professional instructor takes to the wheel of a Vauxhall VXR to drive two laps of this mile long circuit. No doubt learn a thing or two about high-speed driving, with the instructor racing at competition pace and taking the genuine racing lines of the race track. Don’t forget to fasten that safety belt!

Availability: Runs at least one Friday or Saturday every two months throughout the year. As availability is limited, please book at least three months in advance for this popular experience. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice or heavy rain) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Contact is made if the experience is cancelled for any reason. Duration: The ride lasts for a few minutes. Please arrive 45 minutes in advance of the booked time to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: Share the car with just the driver. There might be other vehicles on the track at the same time. Spectators: Spectators are welcome. Children must be closely supervised at all times. The venue offers good facilities for spectators and drivers. Pets are not allowed. Dress Code: Wear trousers, a long-sleeved top and trainers or flat-soled shoes. Helmets are provided. Guidelines: Prestwold Hall is east of Loughborough and accessible from the A6 (take the B675) and the M1 motorway (exit at junction 23, take the A512 to Loughborough, the A60 towards Nottingham and then the B676 and B675). Restrictions: Maximum height is 6’6”. Maximum weight is 18 stone. Minimum age is 16. Under 18’s must be accompanied by adult. Over 50’s need a signed doctor’s certificate if they have a heart or any other serious medical condition. Other Info: Please note: you won’t drive the car yourselves and the rides are taken separately. When booking expect to be offered the choice of buying a collision damage waiver at £20 to £40 additional charge. Please note there is no obligation to purchase this optional waiver.
