Description

Drive the phenomenally quick Nissan GT-R and one of two stunning Aston Martins; either a V8 Vantage or a DB9. The Aston Martins are beautifully-crafted British modern classics with awesome power, phenomenal acceleration and superb handling. The Nissan, on the other hand, is a bit of a beast, with a 3.8-litre V6 engine and two turbochargers, it does 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds with a top speed of 195 mph. Start with a briefing on driving techniques and then drive the Vantage or the DB9 for four laps, and, after a break, drive the GT-R for four more laps. A certificate is also included, to take home and show friends.

Availability: Approximately 10 weekday and occasional weekend dates throughout the year. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions like ice, heavy rain or high winds, when driving at speed might become dangerous. Expect to be contacted in advance if the experience is cancelled for any reason. Duration: Lasts approximately two hours. This includes briefing, safety guidance, driving time and debrief. Please arrive one hour in advance of the booked time to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: Up to 30 people take part. Briefings are shared with a group. Other than for demonstration laps, all driving is held on a one-to-one basis. Please be aware that there tends to be a large number of people taking part at weekends. Spectators: Spectators are welcome. Children must be closely supervised at all times. Dogs are not permitted. Dress Code: Wear trousers, a long-sleeved shirt and narrow, flat-soled shoes, as the pedals in these cars can be close together. Wear natural fibres like cotton, rather than synthetics like nylon. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum height is 5’2”, maximum is 6’6”. Maximum weight is 18 stone. A full British or international must be presented on the day to ensure participation. When booking expect to be offered the choice of buying a collision damage waiver at £20 to £40 additional charge. Please note there is no obligation to purchase this optional waiver.
