Drive the phenomenally quick Nissan GT-R – the pinnacle of Japanese performance engineering – around Dunsfold Park, which features the infamous corners of Gambon, Chicago and Hammerhead – as seen on TV! Start with a briefing from a qualified instructor who provides a discussion on racing lines, high-speed driving techniques and the best way to handle the GT-R out on track. Next, put the theory into practice in the GT-R. This 4WD, 473 bhp beast has a 3.8-litre V6 engine and two turbochargers; it is, in other words, breathtakingly fast. Drive four high-speed laps of the circuit and conclude by collecting a certificate to take home.

Availability: Approximately 10 weekday and occasional weekend dates throughout the year. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions like ice, heavy rain or high winds, when driving at speed might become dangerous. Advance contact will be made if the experience is cancelled for any reason. Duration: Expect to be at the circuit for between half an hour and an hour, including a briefing and driving laps (driving time is up to ten minutes in total). Please arrive one hour in advance of the booked time to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: All in-car tuition is on a one-to-one basis although briefings may be shared. Spectators: Spectators are welcome to join you. Children must be closely supervised at all times. Dogs are not permitted. Dress Code: Wear trousers, a long-sleeved shirt and flat-soled shoes. Any special equipment is provided. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum height is 5’2”, maximum is 6’6”. Maximum weight is 18 stone. A full British or international manual driving licence must be produced on the day to guarantee participation.
