Test drive a true piece of sophisticated German engineering with this adrenaline-fuelled experience in North Yorkshire. Kick off with a quick safety briefing courtesy of a professional instructor. Once acquainted with racing lines and track handling techniques, it’s go time! Slide behind the wheel of the 4.2 litre Audi R8 and take it for a six mile spin around Leeds Raceway to experience the rapid pace, superior handling and outstanding performance in all its glory. At the end, take home a certificate to remember the experience by. A must for any petrol head!

Availability: At least one Friday, Saturday or Sunday date per month from May to November. We recommend allowing several weeks advance booking notice for this particularly popular experience. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. high winds, ice or heavy rain) which would make driving at speed dangerous. The venue makes contact if the experience is cancelled for any reason. Duration: Expect to be at the circuit for between half an hour to up to two hours, including briefing and driving laps (driving time is up to ten minutes in total). Please arrive 45 minutes in advance of the booked time. Numbers On Day: All in-car tuition is on a one-to-one basis although briefings may be shared. During familiarisation laps in the hot hatch share the car with up to two other participants as well as the instructor. Spectators: Spectators are welcome and a camera will come in handy. The venue offers good facilities for spectators and drivers. Pets are not allowed. Dress Code: Wear trousers, a long-sleeved shirt and flat-soled shoes. A helmet and any special equipment is provided. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum height is 5’2”, maximum is 6’6”. Maximum weight is 18 stone. A full British or international manual driving licence held for at least 12 months must be brought on the day in order to participate. Other Info: When booking expect to be offered the choice of buying a collision damage waiver at £20 to £40 additional charge. Please note there is no obligation to purchase this optional waiver.
