The excitement of a 4×4 off road driving experience is no longer exclusively for adults. Get behind the wheel of a Land Rover Discovery – with no licence necessary! Before driving around the purpose-built site, receive a full safety briefing and a vehicle introduction, led by a BORDA qualified instructor. After learning the off road driving essentials, slide behind the wheel and let the fun begin. Steer over hill drops, side slopes and gullies and enjoy the action for a full 35 minutes, with the instructor alongside handing out tips, and a free passenger in the back joining you for the ride. This is the drive of a lifetime and there is even a certificate of excellence to take home and remember it by.

Availability: Wednesdays to Fridays throughout the school holidays and Saturdays and Sundays all year round. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions which would make driving dangerous. Please call the venue if in any doubt. Duration: Expect to be on-site for up to two hours from sign on to debrief, with 35 minutes personal driving time. Numbers On Day: Briefings are shared, the driver to instructor ratio is 2:1. Spectators: Each participating child must be accompanied by a spectating adult (who gets a free ride in the 4×4) but other spectators are very welcome and there is a sheltered area and an on-site cafe. Pets are not permitted. Dress Code: Wear flat shoes which are comfortable for driving. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age is 12, maximum is 17 (attended by a parent or guardian please). Minimum height is 4’11”. Must be physically fit and any medical conditions or disabilities need to be notified at time of booking. Other Info: All junior drivers require a signature of consent from the accompanying parent or guardian on the day.
