Enjoy afternoon tea in the Orangery Restaurant, which overlooks the Duke’s very own private Italian Gardens. Dine on a selection of fresh finger sandwiches, homemade scones with clotted cream and estate jam and an assortment of delectable cakes and pastries, topped off with unlimited loose leaf tea or coffee – wonderful!

Availability: Open daily from 11 February – 4 November and Wednesday – Sunday from 7 November – 14 December. The palace closes from 15 December – 9 February annually. Weather: Duration: The park is open from 9am to 6pm, the formal gardens from 10am to 6pm and the exhibition is open from 10.30am to 5.30pm (last admission 4.45pm).
