Drive two spectacular racing beasts at one of the UK’s fastest circuits, Thruxton. Both the Audi R8 and Porsche Cayman boast the kind of raw power and exceptional performance to leave even the most hardened of driving enthusiast grinning from ear to ear. Begin with a safety briefing followed by two demonstration laps in a Porsche Cayman courtesy of qualified instructor to learn essential track driving techniques. Once ready, take the wheel of the Cayman for three blistering laps of Thruxton’s 2.4 mile circuit, followed by a further three in the relentless Audi R8. This high-octane experience is essential for any avid petrol head!

Availability: At least two Tuesdays, Thursdays or Fridays per month, from February to November. Dates fill very quickly, so please allow at least six weeks advance booking notice. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. ice or heavy rain) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Any unused laps are credited for another visit. Please call the venue if in any doubt. Duration: Expect to be at the circuit for approximately two and a half hours, including a briefing, safety guidance, driving time and debrief. Please arrive a few minutes in advance of the booked start time to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: Briefings are shared, however, all in-car tuition is held on a one-to-one basis with a qualified instructor. Spectators: Spectators are welcome and the venue offers good facilities for spectators and drivers. Children must be closely supervised at all times and dogs are not permitted at any circuits. Dress Code: Dress comfortably (preferably avoiding synthetic clothing) and wear narrow, flat-soled shoes. A helmet and any special clothing is provided. Guidelines: Thruxton circuit is adjacent to and well signposted from the A303 between the M3 and M4, approximately one and a half hours from London. Proceed through the main entrance, up the drive and through the tunnel. The tunnel entrance is slightly off to the left at the top of the rise. Turn immediately left into the paddock car park and at the far end you will see the media centre building where you will need to sign in. Restrictions: Maximum height is 6’3”. Maximum weight is 18 stone. A disclaimer MUST be signed confirming you hold a full British or international driving licence and are fit enough to participate. Other Info: Thruxton is the fastest circuit in the UK and a popular course in the British Touring Car championships. Drive the full 2.4 mile circuit on the day. When booking expect to be offered the choice of buying a collision damage waiver at £20 to £40 additional charge. Please note there is no obligation to purchase this optional waiver.
