Get behind the wheel of a true British supercar, the Jaguar F-Type S and then take a hot ride with the master of motor racing, Tiff Needell. This breathtaking two hour experience begins with a 25 minute briefing and two demonstration laps in a saloon driven by an instructor. Then it’s your turn to take control so slide in, hit the starter button of the Jaguar F-Type S and drive three awesome laps of the 2.4 mile Thruxton circuit in Hampshire. Next feel the rush while Tiff drives you at full throttle in a BMW M4 for three high-speed laps. Tiff is guaranteed to push the car to its limits so be prepared for the ride of your life! Get your breath back and collect an HD DVD recording of the drive to take home as a memento of this special day.

Availability: At least two Tuesdays, Thursdays or Fridays per month from February to November. Dates fill quickly, so please allow at least six weeks advance booking notice. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice or severe rain) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Please call the venue if in doubt. Any unused laps are credited for another visit. Duration: Lasts around two hours including demo laps, 10 minutes driving the Jaguar and three high-speed laps with Tiff. Please arrive a few minutes in advance of the booked time to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: All in-car tuition is on a one-to-one basis, including the high-speed laps. Briefings are shared with up to 16 people. During familiarisation laps in the performance saloon, up to three people share a car. Spectators: Spectators are welcome and a camera comes in handy. The venue offers good facilities for spectators and drivers. Children must be closely supervised at all times and dogs are not permitted. Dress Code: Dress comfortably (preferably avoiding synthetic clothing) and wear narrow, flat-soled shoes. A helmet and any special clothing are provided. Guidelines: Thruxton circuit is adjacent to and well signposted from the A303 between the M3 and M4, approximately one and a half hours from London. Proceed through the main entrance, up the drive and through the tunnel. The tunnel entrance is slightly off to the left at the top of the rise. Turn immediately left into the paddock car park and at the far end you will see the media centre building where you will need to sign in. Restrictions: Minimum age is 17. Maximum height is 6’3”. Maximum weight is 18 stone. A disclaimer MUST be signed confirming you hold a full British or international driving licence and are fit enough to participate. Other Info: Thruxton is the fastest circuit in the UK and a popular course in the British Touring Car championships. Drive the full 2.4 mile circuit on the day. When booking expect to be offered the choice of buying a collision damage waiver at £20 to £40 additional charge. Please note there is no obligation to purchase this optional waiver.
