Uncover the magnificent art of falconry with this hands-on bird of prey experience set within 3000 acres of beautiful Suffolk countryside. In addition to learning about the history of falconry, get to grips with a host of practical tips and techniques including the importance of weighing these birds, how to make the leather equipment worn by the birds and how to tie a falconers knot. During the day, fly a variety of resident birds of prey to the glove including owls and Harris hawks, in addition to watching a professional flying demonstration with the centre’s majestic gyr saker falcons and peregrines. This fun day out includes welcome refreshments of tea and coffee and a hearty lunch at a nearby pub serving excellent food.
