Tackle the great outdoors with an exhilarating 4×4 off road driving experience in Leicestershire. Many people own a 4×4 vehicles but fail to use them to their full capabilities. Off road vehicles such as Land Rovers, Discovery’s or Range Rovers are just begging to be pushed to the limit and this special off road course is the place to do it. You won’t be alone as you make your way around, with a qualified instructor by your side coaxing you around the track to make the most of your adventure driving thrill. Get behind the wheel for at least 40 minutes and see for yourself what these beasts are made of!

Availability: Runs seven days a week throughout the year, excluding Christmas. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather (like flooding or high winds) which makes off road driving dangerous. Wet weather often makes the best 4×4 driving conditions. Please call the venue if in any doubt. Duration: Your experience will last for around one hour, including a minimum of 40 minutes driving time. Numbers On Day: Enjoy a one-to-one experience with the instructor. Your instructor will be in the vehicle at all times. Spectators: Spectators are tricky to accommodate because this experience is so off road, but guests are welcome to come along, wait and use the on-site facilities. Dress Code: Dress for the outdoors, with stout footwear and a waterproof jacket. Guidelines: From M1 junction 19, take A14 towards Kettering. From A14 junction 7 take A43/A6003 towards Corby, then follow brown tourist signs for Rockingham Speedway, and then on for Rockingham Castle, situated off the Corby to Uppingham Road around a quarter mile from Rockingham village. At main castle entrance bear left at the fork, over the cattle grid and park up at Land Rover Experience car parking sign. Restrictions: Minimum age is 17. You must hold a full driving licence and bring it with you on the day. Other Info: The venue is a British Off Road Driving Association member with the majority of instructors specially trained by Land Rover. They’ll do their best to get you behind the wheel of your preferred model, subject to availability.
