Description

Take the ultimate test of your driving skills on this rally driving day in Essex with the opportunity to experience both a front and a rear wheel drive rally car. With full tuition from an experienced instructor, jump straight in the driving seat of the first car after a safety briefing – most of the learning is done in the car. Learn to negotiate cones and tyres at high speed on five laps of a loose surface track. In the second session, drive another five laps before taking a short break. Then enjoy another ten laps split over two sessions in the second car. The final lap in each car is timed, added together to determine the quickest three drivers. Conclude with an exhilarating high-speed passenger ride.

Availability: Saturdays and Tuesdays at least once a month throughout the year. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions which would make driving at speed dangerous. Please call the venue if in any doubt. Duration: Expect to be on-site for up to two hours, with 10 laps in each car (20 laps in total) and a high-speed passenger ride. Please arrive at least 20 minutes before the booked time to attend the essential safety briefing, or risk missing the experience. Numbers On Day: Safety briefings are shared but all in car tuition is one-on-one with an instructor. Spectators: Spectators are very welcome, please advise the venue if more than three spectators are attending. Please be aware that any children must be supervised at all times. Pets are not permitted. Food is available on site. Dress Code: Wear flat shoes which are comfortable for driving. A helmet is provided. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age is 17. Minimum height is 5′, maximum is 6’4”. Maximum weight is 18 stone. A full British or international manual driving licence is required to guarantee participation.
