Description

Experience the ultimate thrill with this extended extreme rally driving session in Essex, which includes taking charge of the incredible Prodrive Mini Countryman WRC Recce car. After a safety briefing, take over the driver’s seat of a front wheel drive vehicle, with the instructor teaching essential rally skills on a familiarisation lap around the loose-surface track. Drive nine more laps to try out negotiating cones and tyres at high speed. Next, master a further 10 laps in a rear wheel drive car and if that wasn’t enough, take 10 laps in the supremely powerful four wheel drive Prodrive Mini Countryman WRC Recce car. Finish with a white-knuckle high-speed passenger ride driven by a pro. Hold on tight!

Availability: Tuesdays and Saturdays, at least two dates per month throughout the year. MUST be booked and taken by 30 June 2017. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions which would make driving at speed dangerous. Please call the venue if in any doubt. Duration: Expect to be on-site for up to three hours, with a total of 30 laps driving and a high-speed passenger ride. Please arrive at least 20 minutes before the booked time to attend the essential safety briefing, or risk missing the experience. Numbers On Day: Safety briefings are shared but all in car tuition is one-on-one with an instructor. Spectators: Spectators are very welcome, please advise the venue if more than three spectators are attending. Be aware that any children must be supervised at all times and pets are not permitted. Dress Code: Wear flat shoes which are comfortable for driving. A helmet is provided. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age is 17. Minimum height is 5′, maximum is 6’4”. Maximum weight is 18 stone.
