There’s something romantic about a Romany caravan – it’s not camping, it’s glamping! Spend three nights in a hand-painted and hand-crafted bowtop caravan at the AA Campsite of the Year for the Whole of the UK 2016. The caravan is perfect for both summer and winter getaways and is hand-built with a double bed, two single beds, insulated oak floor and an electric log burner for a comfortable stay. The caravan’s interior is beautifully designed, upholstered and complete with a wooden deck and garden furniture for the full Romany experience, and clean, modern amenities are available onsite. Do bring all cooking utensils and bedding (as none are provided). The caravan overlooks Dorset’s natural beauty and is the perfect setting for a peaceful getaway.

Availability: Seven days a week from 1 March to 2 January, excluding 27 May – 19 September. Monday – Thursday guests receive a delicious home cooked Dorset breakfast from the local courtyard centre (three minutes from the campsite). Weather: Duration: Check in at 2pm and check out by 11am on the day of departure. Numbers On Day: Spectators: Dress Code: Dress for a walk in the country, in long trousers, sturdy waterproof clothes and footwear, plus a hat on a cold day. Some spare wellies, rain capes and gaiters are kept at the farm just in case. Guidelines: Restrictions: Participants must be aged 18 or over. Unfortunately, no pets are allowed.
