Venture into an exciting underwater world with a scuba dive discovery experience in Kent. Learning in the safe and fun environment of a swimming pool, this is ideal for total beginners who want some underwater adventure! Starting with a safety briefing, get kitted out in full scuba gear and take your first steps into the water. Under the guidance and help of a professional instructor, take your first breath underwater and enjoy the special feeling of weightlessness. The session is the first step towards a Padi open water course or referral programme – which is excellent if you get a taste for the underwater life!

Availability: Saturday or Sunday mornings throughout the year (other days maybe be available on request). Weather: Duration: Lasts for about an hour, expect to be at the venue for about 90 minutes. Numbers On Day: The session works on the ratio of one instructor to four pupils. There may be other students in the pool at the same time. Spectators: Spectators are welcome – there is a viewing gallery and bar area. Children must be supervised by an adult when poolside. Dress Code: Bring a swimming costume, towel and t-shirt to wear in the water (to stop the scuba apparatus rubbing against skin). All other equipment is provided, including a tank, mask and scuba gear. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age is 10 and must be able to swim. A medical questionaire and safety forms need to be completed before the session. Under 14’s must have a parent or guardian present to spectate and countersign the forms. Some disabilities can be accomodated. Other Info: All participants are required to sign a medical declaration and disclaimer before taking part. No previous experience is necessary, beginners are welcome. If disabled access is required, please mention when making a booking.
