Visit this unique adventure park and prepare to roll your sleeves up and beat the opposition, with a thrilling dumper truck racing experience at Diggerland, Yorkshire. After a safety briefing, receive a direct introduction to your very own dumper truck to become accustomed to before racing. It’s an entirely new experience racing with a vehicle that weighs in at over a tonne! Feed your competitive edge as you race against the clock with other dumper truck drivers on the day. The winners of the heats go forward to a special final! Diggerland is fun for all the family with driving experiences available for kids and adults.

Availability: Runs approximately one Saturday evening a month between May and October, but days may vary throughout the year. Weather: Racing may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions like ice or heavy rain, when driving might become dangerous. Call the venue if in any doubt. Duration: Lasts for around two and a half hours. Please arrive 30 minutes before the start time for a welcome address. Numbers On Day: A maximum of 28 people take part. Everyone competes in two heats racing against the clock. Spectators: Feel free to bring as many guests to spectate as you like – no charge! Undercover seating is available if it’s raining, but they’ll only be able to watch all the action from outside. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Dress Code: Dress warmly and wear flat shoes, or boots if it’s wet day. The event is held on rough terrain and if it’s been raining you’ll probably get a bit muddy. Guidelines: Exit M62 at junction 31 and take the A655 towards Castleford. Diggerland is located half a mile along the A655, immediately before the petrol station. The closest railway station is Castleford. Restrictions: Minimum age is 17. No license needed, however driving knowledge is preferred. Other Info:
