Head to London’s newest and most talked about attraction, the ArcelorMittal Orbit viewing platforms and The Slide for a fun day out. Begin by ascending the magnificent ArcelorMittal Orbit, the 114.5 metre sculpture and observation tower at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Head to the upper viewing gallery to take in the vast views and learn more about the sculpture using interactive technology. Next, ride the world’s tallest, longest and fastest tunnel slide for 40 seconds. The Slide is the UK’s tallest public artwork and measures up at 178m. Pass through light and dark sections and circle around the Orbit 12 times. Weave through the famous loops and curves of the iconic structure and hit speeds of up to 15mph on the way down!

Availability: Open daily throughout the year, excluding the Christmas and New Year period. All bookings are subject to availability. Currently booking until 30 April 2017. Weather: The Slide may be closed in extreme weather conditions, if so you will be able to book an alternative date. Duration: Expect to be at the ArcelorMittaOrbit for around 1.5 hours, including time at the viewing platform, safety briefing and The Slide. Time slots for The Slide are every 15 minutes from 11.15am to 4pm. The Slide ride lasts approximately 40 seconds. Numbers On Day: Spectators: Spectators are welcome to watch from outside or can pay entry fee to the ArcelorMittal Orbit viewing platform and watch from the top. Dress Code: Do not wear loose clothing, large jewellery or inappropriate footwear (for example high heels). Guidelines: Restrictions: For one adult aged 17 years or older and one child aged 8 – 16 years. The min age is 8, the min height is 1.3 metres. Max weight is 22 stone.
