Description
Learn what wearing scuba equipment feels like and how easy it is to glide around underwater while wearing it during this scuba dive discovery in Brighton. Learn in the safe and fun environment of a warm swimming pool and find out what it’s like to breathe underwater. Gain the basic skills and safety rules from a PADI qualified instructor and gain the skills that are essential for the full scuba certification course. This experience is the perfect opportunity to get a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world. Enjoy the special feeling of weightlessness in the deep end of the pool, the perfect introduction to the underwater world.
Availability: At least one Sunday a month, throughout the year. Weather: Duration: Lasts for about an hour and a half, expect to be at the venue for about two hours. Numbers On Day: The session works on the ratio of one instructor to six pupils. There may be other students in the pool at the same time. Spectators: Dress Code: Bring a swimming costume, towel, bottle of water and change for the changing rooms (which is returned at the end). All other equipment is provided, including a tank, mask and scuba gear. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age is 10 and must be able to swim. PADI medical questionaires and safety forms need to be completed before the session. Other Info: All participants are required to sign a medical declaration and disclaimer before taking part. No previous experience is necessary, beginners are welcome. If disabled access is required, please mention when making a booking.
