Take to the skies for a thrilling flight in a vintage De Havilland Tiger Moth and discover why generations of flyers have fallen in love with these nimble little planes. Following a pre-flight safety briefing, don a Biggles-style jacket before boarding the Tiger Moth in preparation for take-off. Once in the clouds, feel the incredible sensation of open cockpit aviation whilst enjoying breathtaking views as the pilot completes a series of incredible aerobatic manoeuvres (subject to weather conditions and at the pilot’s discretion). During the session, take the reins to get a genuine feel for piloting such an amazing craft. Chocks away!

Availability: Seven days a week between April and October. Weather: Flying is a weather dependent activity and it’s essential that you call the venue for a weather check before setting out. If your flight is cancelled because of the weather, it will be re-booked for an alternative date or time. Duration: Lasts around 20 minutes from chocks-off to chocks-on. Please arrive a few minutes before the flight time to get kitted out and briefed. Allow for at least one hour on-site. Numbers On Day: Briefings may be shared, but only you and a qualified pilot will be in the aircraft during your flight. Spectators: Spectators are welcome to watch take-off and landing. A pair of binoculars or a camera will come in handy. Dress Code: Tiger Moths have open cockpits, so wrap up warm. Wear soft-soled shoes. Bring sunglasses and tie back long hair. Flying kit (jacket, headset and helmet) will be provided. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age is 16 and maximum weight 17 stone. There is no maximum height, if you fit into a standard car seat you should be comfortable in the cockpit. Unsuitable for pregnant women or anyone unable to climb into the open cockpit. Other Info:
