Availability: The Shard and Shakespeare’s Globe are both open daily, excluding Christmas and New Year period. On 23 April 2016 the exhibition is open 9am – 5pm and The Globe Tour runs from 9.30am – 11.30am and on 24 April 2016 the exhibition is open from 9am – 5pm and there will be no Globe Tours. Weather: Duration: The Shard visit lasts an hour and can be booked every 30 minutes from 10am to 8.30pm. Shakespeare’s Globe tour (lasting 30 – 40 mins) runs every 15 – 30 minutes between 10am – 5pm from mid-October to mid-April and from 10am – 12.30pm (11.30pm on Sundays) Numbers On Day: A maximum of 200 visitors visit The Shard at any one time. Share the Globe tour with an average of around 30 people (can go up to 60 on busy tours but does not exceed this). Spectators: Dress Code: The dress code is smart casual for The Shard. As much of the experience is spent standing, comfortable footwear is recommended for Shakespeare’s Globe. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age is 18.
