Head into the unknown during this journey deep underground and experience a whole new world you never knew existed. Meet an intrepid adventure guide at Conwy Falls and soak in breathtaking local scenery at ground level, before kitting up ready to start an underground expedition. Journey into the heart of a mountain and encounter deep blue lakes that time forgot, colossal caverns and abandoned mining gear – all while abseiling off ledges and climbing rock faces and waterfalls. Next, or on a different occasion, spend a night at the four star Craig-y-Dderwen hotel in the Snowdonia National Park. Stay in one of the hotel’s best rooms with views across the river. A full Welsh breakfast is included.

Availability: Go Below Adventures are daily throughout the year, excluding the 21 December to 27 December and New Years Eve. Stay at the hotel from Sunday to Thursday (excluding Christmas, New Year, bank holidays and Valentine’s). Book as far in advance as possible (min 8 weeks recommended). Weather: The Go Below adventure experience runs in almost all weather conditions. If in doubt, please call the venue before setting off. Duration: The Go Below adventure lasts around five hours in total and the stay at the hotel is for one night. Check in from 2.30pm to 11pm. Check out before 10.30am. Numbers On Day: Share the adventure with up to 14 others, plus an experienced guide. Spectators: Dress Code: Please bring waterproofs and comfortable clothes that are fine to get dirty; tough gloves are recommended. All specialist equipment is provided. A change of clothing is also recommended. Guidelines: Restrictions: The minimum age for the Go Below Adventure is 10 (anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult). Guests must be aged 18 or over to stay at the hotel.
