Escape to the country for a relaxing vineyard escape that is tailor-made for wine lovers. Spend one night at the Little Silver Country Hotel which offers an intimate setting with every room. The rooms overlook the hotel’s beautifully manicured landscaped gardens and a complimentary bottle of house champagne is offered on arrival, to be enjoyed in your stunning room. During the break, head on over to The Chapel Down Winery for a guided vineyard tour in beautiful surroundings. Embark on a journey through this renowned English winery and learn all about the winemaking process, from the harvesting of grapes right through to the bottling of the delicious end product. If that wasn’t enough, sample six house wines under the wing of a resident expert.

Availability: Seven days a week, between May and October. Tours run daily from June to September and weekends only in May and October. Please note that the Little Silver Country Hotel has limited availability on Saturdays between May and October due to weddings. Weather: Duration: The stay is for one night. Check in from 1pm and check out by 10am. Expect to be at the winery for up to four hours including the tour and wine tasting. Numbers On Day: Share the tour with up to 22 other budding wine connoisseurs. This intimate hotel has 16 bedrooms in total. Spectators: Dress Code: We recommend wearing comfortable, flat soled shoes and clothing suited for spending some time outside during time at the winery. Guidelines: Restrictions: Guests aged 18 or over are welcome. Please be aware that the wine tour involves some walking, often over uneven ground, and there is no disabled access to the restaurant which has steps.
