Now little one’s can feel what it’s like to be a real racing driver with this kids karting experience at Hertfordshire’s Rye House, the place where Lewis Hamilton drove his very first kart! Kick off the session with a fun group safety briefing before putting on real racing gear and meeting your ride. Once securely strapped into the 360 cc kart, it’s time for the proper fun to begin – guide the racing machine around Rye’s specially-designed mini circuit for 30 minutes at amazing speeds while the rest of the family watch all the action from the track’s private grand stand. This fun and exciting karting experience is essential for any young and upcoming driving superstar!

Availability: Runs at least once a week (could be a weekend or a weekday) throughout the year. Weather: The venue is not weather dependent but should the organisers feel conditions on the day are at all dangerous, a full credit would always be offered. Duration: Lasts around one hour and fifteen minutes, including 30 minutes of driving time. Numbers On Day: There are a maximum of six karts on the circuit at any one time. Spectators: Unlimited numbers of spectators are welcome to come along, cheer and make use of the on-site cafe and club facilities, which include a balcony, grand stand, paddock enclosure, adventure playground, crazy golf course and laser tag. Dress Code: A racing suit and helmet are provided. Wear flat shoes and remove any scarves when driving. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age is 5, maximum age 7. Minimum height is 3’6” (107cm).
