Get behind the wheel of a DAF military truck and be a passenger in a Stalwart 6×6 during this thrilling double military vehicle experience. This DAF truck driving experience is your chance to take control of a military truck without joining the armed forces. Begin with a safety briefing before getting behind the wheel of the mighty 6 litre DAF for 25 minutes of challenging driving over a custom-built off road track. Next, it’s time to be a passenger in the amphibious Stalwart 6×6 truck for another 25 minutes with a professional instructor at the wheel, getting a sense of what it feels like to be military personnel. This is the perfect day for any lover of serious military-spec vehicles!

Availability: At least one weekday or weekend date a month throughout the year. Weather: Driving is only ever cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow or ice) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Duration: Lasts for up to two hours, with around 25 minutes in total driving the DAF truck and another 25 minutes as a passenger in the Stalwart. Numbers On Day: Briefings are held in groups, but all driving is on a one to one basis. There may be another passenger sharing the Stalwart with you, as well as the instructor. Spectators: Unlimited numbers of spectators are welcome. Please note that animals are not allowed at the circuit, with the exception of guide dogs. Dress Code: Dress comfortably and wear trainers or flat-soled shoes. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age is 18 and maximum weight is 18 stone. Minimum height is 5′, maximum is 6’4”. A full British or international manual driving licence must be held for over 12 months and be produced on the day in order to participate. Other Info: When booking expect to be offered the choice of buying a collision damage waiver at £20 to £40 additional charge. Please note there is no obligation to purchase this optional waiver.
