The best way to explore the South Downs is by foot and for those who love the great outdoors, there’s no better adventure than this guided walking tour. Pack a rucksack, don your walking boots and set off on this inspiring walking tour which covers the most beautiful, breathtaking and intriguing parts of the South Downs National Park. Follow a qualified guide and learn all about the amazing geology of the area, brush up on your navigation skills, follow in the footsteps of Roman armies and keep your eyes peeled for Red Kites, hares, rare butterflies and many other wonderful creatures as you cross the Downs. During the tour, take a well-earned break in a traditional Sussex country pub. Don’t forget to bring your camera!
Availability: At least one weekend date per month throughout the year. Weather: This experience is only cancelled in extreme weather conditions. If in doubt, please call the venue before setting off. Duration: Starts at 9.30am and lasts between three and four hours. Numbers On Day: Share the adventure with up to 19 other keen walkers, plus an experienced guide. Spectators: Dress Code: Please wear walking shoes and dress appropriately for the weather. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age is 18. Participant must be able to walk unaided.
