Description
A guide will take you on a tour of Twickenham, capacity 82,000, including a peak at the England team dressing room, a chance to sit in the Royal Box, walk down the players’ tunnel and even the hallowed turf from the pitchside. Guests will also receive a ten per cent discount voucher to use in the rugby store at the end of the tour by purchasing memorabilia or a souvenir to the value of £40. Home to the RFU headquarter offices, the now iconic stadium’s first rugby match took place on 2 October 1909 between first tenants Harlequins and Richmond. 15 January 1910 saw Twickenham’s first international with England taking on Wales (commemorated during RBS Six Nations on 6th February 2010 when England faced Wales).
