Flying fanatics are sure to love this helicopter flying experience at Silverstone, home of the British Grand Prix. Enjoy two exciting passenger flights, plus a around seven minutes of hands-on flying time, all in a purpose-built training chopper. Kick off with a safety briefing and introduction to the controls, before hopping into the helicopter to get ready for lift-off. Take turns being passenger and pilot to experience the best of both worlds – sit back and soak in the view as the helicopter soars over Silverstone’s iconic race track and personally take the reins for seven whole minutes, with the instructor on-hand to offer tips and tuition throughout. The ultimate introduction to the wonderful world of helicopter aviation!

Availability: Around two – three weekend dates per month throughout the year, excluding the Christmas and New Year period. Please book in advance to avoid disappointment. Weather: Duration: Lasts around an hour including a briefing and three six – seven minute flights (two as a passenger and one as honorary pilot). Numbers On Day: Share the flight with up to two others, plus a fully-qualified instructor. Spectators: Spectators are welcome to watch the take-off and landing. A pair of binoculars or a camera comes in handy. Dress Code: Please bear in mind that inside the helicopter can get quite warm. Sunglasses are recommended all year round.
