This sightseeing flight for two is the perfect way to see Carlisle from a bird’s-eye view. You and a friend take off from (and land at) Carlisle Airport in a nifty Cessna 172 plane and whizz high up to the skies to take in breathtaking sights of this scenic city. Carlisle is drenched in history with its origins of being a 1st century Roman outpost; you don’t get a lot older than that. The city is also home to an 11th century castle and what better way to see it than an aerial view? This is a perfect high flying experience to see the city from an entirely different perspective.

Availability: Seven days a week. The venue is closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Weekends can get very busy so we recommend booking at least two weeks in advance (even earlier for summer weekends). Weather: Flying is a weather dependent activity and it’s essential that you call the venue for a weather check before setting out. If the flight is cancelled because of the weather, it will be re-booked for an alternative date or time. Duration: Lasts for about 45 minutes, including a 20 minute flight. Flight times are approximate and are the chocks-off to chocks-on duration. Numbers On Day: You will share your flight with a maximum of one other passenger as well as the pilot. Spectators: Spectators are welcome to watch take-off and landing. Dress Code: Wear flat-soled shoes. Sunglasses are recommended all year round. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age four – under 16’s must be accompanied on the flight by a fare paying adult. Maximum weight is 17 stone. Maximum height is 6’4”. For security reasons, photographic id (ideally a passport) must be produced by all passengers on the day. Other Info:
