If you have a passion for motorsport and want to show off some serious driving skills, then why not put them to the test with a breathless go karting experience for two at Gosport? These go karting days are ideal for karting novices and seasoned racers alike, with the chance to zip around a race track and fight to become the ultimate champion. Don a racing suit and each person then sets off in a 200cc kart, attempting to make it round the track 50 times before anyone else, for ultimate glory. The thrill of motor racing is not just for kids – challenge your kids or other family members to a fun activity day that will have them talking for days on end.

Availability: At least one Sunday a month. We recommend booking several (at least eight) weeks in advance for this very popular experience. Weather: This is an indoor track which isn’t affected by the weather. Duration: Lasts an hour and 45 minutes, including 30 – 40 minutes driving time. Please arrive a few minutes early to register and ensure a prompt start (missing any of the initial briefing means not being permitted to take part). Numbers On Day: The number of competitors can vary from 20 to 40. Spectators: Spectators are welcome. There are vending facilities on-site offering hot and cold drinks. Dress Code: Wear flat shoes or trainers. A helmet is provided. Race suits and gloves are also provided. Guidelines: Exit M27 at junction 11 and follow signs for Gosport (A32). Proceed for about half a mile over a bridge and at the next roundabout, bear left under the bridge alongside the waterfront. Go over the next roundabout and keep left, following signs for the A32 (but dont go over the flyover). Continue straight until you see Hoeford Inn. Just beyond the pub, turn left into Fareham Reach Industrial Estate and follow signs to the centre. Restrictions: Min age is 14, under 16’s must be accompanied by guardian over 18. Max weight is 18 stone. Min inside leg measurement 29” (to base of shoe) ensures you can reach pedals. Pregnancy, epilepsy, fainting, diabetes, back/neck injuries prohibit participation. Other Info: Do not drink any alcohol for at least five hours prior to the experience or you won’t be permitted to drive. Customers must wear a balaclava under their helmet whilst racing. Disposable balaclavas can be purchased for 50p or a reusable one for £3.50.
