The thrill of motor racing can be found in all four corners of the country thanks to TeamSport Indoor Karting, and this venue in Leeds is no exception. In fact, some of the nation’s Formula 1 champions, including famous names Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button, kick started their careers with karting success. Tackle the many straights, bends, twists, turns and the furious pace of the purpose-built Leeds circuit and try and be the fastest. Everyone sets off in a 200cc kart, attempting to make it round the track 50 times before their opponents in an attempt to be crowned the day’s ultimate karting champion – buckle up!

Availability: At least one Sunday a month. We recommend booking several (at least eight) weeks in advance for this very popular experience. Weather: This is an indoor track which isn’t affected by the weather. Duration: Lasts an hour and 45 minutes, including 30 – 40 minutes driving time. Please arrive a few minutes early to register and ensure a prompt start (missing any of the initial briefing means not being permitted to take part). Numbers On Day: This voucher is for two people. The number of competitors can vary from 20 to 40. Spectators: Spectators are welcome. There are vending facilities on-site offering hot and cold drinks. Dress Code: Wear flat shoes or trainers. Race suits, gloves and helmets are provided. Guidelines: Restrictions: Min age is 14, under 16’s must be accompanied by guardian over 18. Max weight is 18 stone. Min inside leg measurement 29” (to base of shoe) ensures you can reach pedals. Pregnancy, epilepsy, fainting, diabetes, back/neck injuries prohibit participation. Other Info: Do not drink any alcohol for at least five hours prior to the experience or you won’t be permitted to drive. Customers must wear a balaclava under their helmet whilst racing. Disposable balaclavas can be purchased for 50p or a reusable one for £3.50.
