Looking for a driving experience that packs a punch? Take charge of a Land Rover Defender and pit your wits against a challenging purpose-built 4×4 off road course in one of North Yorkshire’s most stunning estates. After a safety briefing, climb behind the wheel of this 4×4 beast for a whole hour of off road driving action. With a friendly and knowledgeable instructor in the passenger seat to offer expert guidance at all times, push yourself to the limit through a series of water crossings, steep gradients, twists, turns and traverses. Pick up a host of useful off road driving tips along the way and by the end you could be driving like a pro. Do you have what it takes?

Availability: Seven days a week throughout the year, (excluding Christmas Day). Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. ice, snow or heavy rain) which would make driving dangerous. Please call the venue if in any doubt. Duration: Expect to be onsite for around an hour and 15 minutes, including a briefing and one hour Land Rover driving time. Please arrive a few minutes in advance of the booked time to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: This experience is for one person but up to three passengers can come along for the ride. Spectators: Spectators are welcome and the venue offers good on-site facilities including spectator wheelchair access. Children must be closely supervised at all times. Dress Code: Dress comfortably (preferably avoiding synthetic clothing) and wear narrow, flat-soled shoes. A helmet and any special clothing is provided. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age is 25. A disclaimer MUST be signed confirming you hold a full British or international driving licence and are fit enough to participate. Other Info: If the Land Rover Defender is not for you, you can instead choose from a Mitsubishi L200 Barbarian or Isuzu Utah D-Max, simply give your preference when booking.
