This fun-filled helicopter flight offers a completely novel way to view the world. On arrival, get strapped into a five-seater Jet Ranger helicopter and prepare for vertical take-off. Once airborne, soak in beautiful bird’s-eye views of the ground below as the helicopter departs its Surrey launch site and glides effortlessly towards London. As this not a flight over London, the helicopter doesn’t actually enter the city’s airspace, however, on a clear day the iconic skyline may be visible from a distance – and the experience of helicopter flight really is something to remember! Once back at the launch site, receive a £5 voucher to spend towards lunch at the airfield restaurant. A great day out!

Availability: At least one weekend date per month between April – October. Weather: This is a weather dependent activity, mainly due to wind speeds and cloud base above the ground. It is crucial to call the venue before setting out to check conditions. If the flight is cancelled, it can be re-booked directly with the venue. Duration: Lasts around 30 minutes, including a 12 – 15 minute flight. Take as long as you like over lunch. Numbers On Day: With this voucher for one, share the flight with up to three other passengers and a seasoned pilot. Spectators: Spectators are welcome to watch take off and landing. A pair of binoculars or a camera could come in handy. Dress Code: Please bear in mind that inside the helicopter can get quite warm. Sunglasses are recommended all year round. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age is 6 and any under 16’s must sit in the back and be accompanied by a participating adult. Maximum weight is 18 stone (or 15 stone for front seat passengers). Other Info: Please note, this is a helicopter flight from Surrey. Although the flight path takes you towards the City of London, it doesn’t actually enter its airspace, and any views you may get of the capital are restricted to its skyline in the distance.
