A helicopter ride is not an everyday occurrence and it’s easy to feel like a pair of celebrities when boarding against the wind of the blades and during the exciting vertical take-off in a Long Ranger or a Twin Squirrel. Once in flight, fly through the Surrey countryside until the sprawl of London City comes into view. With an unforgettable vantage point, it’s easy to get an amazing perspective on the geography of the city and the beauty of its landmarks. See the sparkling River Thames, the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace and much more. Whether tourists or Londoners born and bred, prepare to see the capital in a whole new way.

Availability: Approximately three weekend dates per month from March to September. Weather: This is a weather dependent activity, mainly due to wind speeds and cloud base above the ground. It is crucial to call the venue before setting out to check conditions. All cancellations are rebooked directly with the venue. Duration: A 15 to 30 minute safety briefing takes place before the flight, then flight time lasts up to 30 minutes from engines-on to engines-off. Please arrive a few minutes in advance of the booked time to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: This experience is for two people but the helicopter is shared with up to three other passengers. Spectators: Spectators are welcome to watch the take off and landing. A pair of binoculars or a camera will come in handy. Dress Code: The helicopter can get quite warm so please dress accordingly. Sunglasses are recommended all year round. Guidelines: Restrictions: Min age 6 (under 12’s to be accompanied by participating adult). Max weight 17st. Pregnant women over 7 months cannot fly. Photo ID (e.g. passport/photo driving licence) and utility or mobile bill with name and address required on day. Other Info: The venue is a CAA licenced operator and a member of the British Helicopter Advisory Board (BHAB).
