Take to the clouds for a sensational 30 minute light aircraft flight in East Yorkshire, the perfect experience for any budding aerial adventurer. Kick off with an essential safety briefing before boarding a Cessna 152 aircraft with a seasoned instructor in preparation for take off. Once ready ascend skyward and, once at altitude, marvel at astounding panoramic views of the countryside as the pilot effortlessly guides the Cessna through the clouds. During the flight, take over the reins and go for a spin under expert supervision to experience the unrivalled joys of aviation from a first-hand perspective. For those with the flying bug, this flight time counts towards a Private Pilot’s Licence.

Availability: Seven days a week, excluding Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. Weekends can get very busy; if a weekend date is required we recommend booking at least four weeks in advance (even earlier for summer weekends). Weather: Flying is a weather dependent activity and it’s essential to call the venue for a weather check before setting out. If the flight is cancelled because of the weather, it can be re-booked for an alternative date or time. Duration: Lasts around 40 minutes, including a 30 minute flight. Flight times are approximate and are the chocks-off to chocks-on duration. Numbers On Day: The briefing might be shared. The flight is held on a one-to-one basis with the instructor. Spectators: Spectators are welcome to watch the take off and landing. Dress Code: Wear flat-soled shoes. Sunglasses are recommended all year round. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age 16. Max weight 15 stone. Max height 6’6”. For security reasons, photographic ID (ideally a passport) MUST be produced by all passengers on the day or they won’t be permitted to fly. Other Info: Flying time can count towards a Private Pilot’s Licence. To qualify for a PPL 35 hours of dual control and 10 hours solo flying is required.
