This experience gives you a unique perspective on the sights of London. After a short pre-flight briefing, you’ll board a Piper Seneca twin-engine plane for a fantastic half hour sightseeing trip. After taking off in Essex you’ll follow the Thames west into the heart of the city, getting a unique view of the capital. You’ll see the O2 arena, Tower Bridge, HMS Belfast, the towers at Canary Wharf, The London Eye and the Houses of Parliament. Then turn north to fly over Trafalgar Square and Buckingham Palace, before heading back east to land in Essex. You’ll get an amazing perspective on the geography of the city and the beauty of its landmarks, so whether you’re a tourist or a Londoner, you’ll see the capital in a whole new way.

Availability: Takes place at least one weekend date per month. Weather: Flying is a weather dependent activity and it is crucial to call the venue for a weather check before setting out. Duration: Lasts for 30 minutes, but please allow longer at the venue. Flight times are approximate and are the chocks-off to chocks-on duration. At the Old Orleans roundabout take the B172, follow signs to Theydon Bois. Continue through the village towards Abridge and turn left at the T-junction. Follow signs to Stapleford Airfield, the airport is on your right. Restrictions: Minimum age is 16. Maximum weight 15 stone.
