Description
There’s nothing quite like the sensation of flying through the air in a chopper – it’s how the rich and famous like to get around and it’s a great way to enjoy the sights of the beautiful British landscape. On this 12 mile helicopter flight, soar to heights of up to 1000 feet and enjoy stunning aerial views of the local countryside while your pilot points out the area’s best landmarks. Bring along a camera to capture the impressive imagery so you can re-live the experience back on the ground.
Availability: Flights take place around one weekend date per month from April – October. Weather: This is a weather dependent activity, mainly due to wind speeds and cloud base above the ground. It is crucial to call the venue before setting out to check conditions. If the flight is cancelled, it can be re-booked directly with the venue. Duration: Expect to be at the venue for about one hour, including a safety briefing and a flight time of between seven and 10 minutes. Please arrive a few minutes in advance of the booked time to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: The helicopter seats up to six participants, plus the pilot. Spectators: Spectators are welcome to watch the take off and landing. A pair of binoculars or a camera comes in handy. Dress Code: Please bear in mind that inside the helicopter can get quite warm. Sunglasses are recommended all year round. Guidelines: Restrictions: Min age six (under 12’s must be accompanied by a participating adult). Max weight 18 stone.
