Drive two of the UK’s fastest superboats in one exciting session with this thrilling experience in Southampton. Begin with an introductory safety briefing before both being kitted out in specialist powerboating gear. Once revved up and ready for action, head out to The Solent and hold on tight for a spin in the Honda HF4S and the super responsive Thunderbolt to experience each of their very different but equally amazing capabilities first-hand. During the experience, each take the reins of both superboats under the guidance of a qualified instructor and put your skills to the ultimate test on a challenging offshore circuit – the perfect experience for two thrill seeking aquatic adventurers!

Availability: Weekend dates from April to mid October. Book at least four weeks in advance (please be aware that bookings are taken up to a maximum of three months ahead). Weather: This is a weather dependent activity. It’s essential that you call the venue for a weather check between 5pm and 7pm the evening before you go. Duration: This experience lasts for two hours including a safety briefing, one and a half hours on the water with 15 minutes driving time, and a debrief. Please arrive up to half an hour early to get ready, as the boat can’t wait for latecomers. Numbers On Day: This experience is for two. There are up to four people on board. Spectators: Spectators are welcome to wave you off from the shore. Tell them to bring a camera and a pair of binoculars. Dress Code: Dress warmly and bring waterproofs and a change of clothes. Bear in mind that there is a high wind-chill factor aboard the boat. Wear non-slip shoes (e.g. trainers or deck shoes). An old pair of sunglasses/ski goggles will be useful if it is windy. Guidelines: From M27, exit J3 onto M271 following signs to ‘Waterfront’. With Ocean Village on your right, drive straight on, under bridge until you reach T junction with ‘The Chapel Arms’ ahead. Turn right, then right again at roundabout by St. Mary’s Stadium (into Belvidere Road). Pick up signposts for Shamrock Quay and turn right into William Street. From M3, exit J14 onto A33, then follow directions as above. Please telephone if you have any problems. Restrictions: Minimum age is 16. Minimum height is 5′. Maximum weight is 17st.
