Description
There’s not much that beats the sensation of flying high above the ground in a dynamic five-seater Jet Ranger helicopter. It’s how the rich and famous like to travel and is the most idyllic way to see the sensational sights of the beautiful British landscape. On this six mile pleasure flight from a variety of locations across the UK, climb to around 1000 feet and soak up breathtaking sights of the ground below, with the pilot pointing out any local landmarks along the way. Bring along a camera to capture the impressive views below, to show friends and family and relive the experience once back on solid ground.
Availability: Around one weekend date per month, at each venue, from April – October. Weather: This is a weather dependent activity, mainly due to wind speeds and cloud base above the ground. It is crucial to call the venue before setting out to check conditions. If the flight is cancelled, it can be re-booked directly with the venue. Duration: Expect to be at the venue for about one hour, including a safety briefing and a flight time of five minutes. Please arrive a few minutes in advance of the booked time to ensure a prompt start. Numbers On Day: With this voucher for one, share the flight with up to three other passengers and a seasoned pilot. Spectators: Spectators are welcome to watch the take off and landing. A pair of binoculars or a camera comes in handy. Dress Code: Please bear in mind that inside the helicopter can get quite warm. Sunglasses are recommended all year round. Guidelines: Restrictions: Min age six (under 12’s must be accompanied by a participating adult). Max weight 18 stone.
