There’s not much that beats the sensation of zipping above the ground in a dynamic, speedy five-seater Jet Ranger helicopter. It’s how the rich and famous like to get around and is the most wonderful way to see the spectacular sights of the beautiful British landscape. On this six mile pleasure flight, climb to around 1000 feet and soak up breathtaking panoramic views from the ground below, with the pilot pointing out the best local landmarks along the way. Availability: Flights take place around one weekend date per month from April – October. Weather: This is a weather dependent activity, mainly due to wind speeds and cloud base above the ground. It is crucial to call the venue before setting out to check conditions. If the flight is cancelled, it can be re-booked directly with the venue. Duration: Expect to be at the venue for about one hour, including a a safety briefing and a flight time of five minutes. Spectators: Spectators are welcome to watch the take off and landing. A pair of binoculars or a camera comes in handy. Dress Code: Please bear in mind that inside the helicopter can get quite warm.
