For adrenaline-fuelled driving lovers, this 4×4 off road driving adventure is sure to satisfy and excite. Take a Land Rover Discovery off road and push it to the limit for an hour and a half of in-car driving action and 40 minutes behind the wheel. With so much time to perfect skills, there is ample opportunity to master new tricks and find out what the metal beast is capable of! After a safety briefing from a professional, climb into the Land Rover and set off on a rough and ready off road adventure. Take turns being both passenger and driver and negotiate climbs, gullies, steep drops, sharp twists and turns, with an instructor in the vehicle to offer tips and guidance. It’s an unforgettable off road driving thrill.

Availability: Wednesday – Friday (at least one date per week) and at least one weekend date per month throughout the year. Weather: Driving might be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions which would make driving dangerous (please call the venue if in doubt). If this happens, an alternative date can be arranged. Duration: Lasts around two hours including a briefing and 40 minutes of hands-on driving time. Numbers On Day: Share the vehicle with up to two other off road driving enthusiasts, plus a qualified instructor. Spectators: There is an indoor waiting area but unfortunately nowhere to watch the action. Pets are not permitted. Dress Code: Dress in comfortable outdoor clothing (and wrap up warm in winter) with trousers, long sleeves and flat-soled shoes. Wellington boots are prohibited. Guidelines: Restrictions: Min age 17. Min height 5′, max 6’4”. Max weight is 18 stone. A full driving licence must be produced on the day to guarantee participation. Participants must be physically fit and declare any medical conditions before booking. Other Info: This venue is a BORDA (British off road driving association) registered site and all driving instructors are BORDA qualified.
