Taking a ride in a top of the range helicopter has long been a favourite mode of travel for the rich and famous. Experience the thrill first-hand with this 30 minute sightseeing tour over the intriguing landscape surrounding Cardiff and South Wales. The tour takes in many of the city’s most famous landmarks including the Cardiff Docks, the imposing Millennium Stadium, Cardiff Castle, and the picturesque bay. The tour will also provide a unique glimpse of Barry Island, the impressive Lavernock Point, and the spectacular scenery South Wales is so loved for. Availability: Around one day per month, generally around the weekend. Weather: This is a weather dependent activity, mainly due to wind speeds and cloud base above the ground. It is crucial to call the venue before setting out to check conditions. If the flight is cancelled, it can be re-booked directly with the venue. Duration: Expect to be at the venue for about 50 minutes, including a safety briefing and a flight time of 20 minutes. Dress Code: There is heating inside the helicopter and so outer clothing should be kept to a minimum.
