Description

This Formula Ford Turbo driving experience is a must for any motor racing fan. This rocket of a car accelerates from 0-60mph in just 3 seconds, and comes with a 1.6 litre turbo charged engine, just like the modern crop of F1 cars! Kick off with a safety briefing from an professional instructor to prepare you for the drive ahead, before lowering yourself into the cockpit of the racing car. Then it’s time to let loose and put the pedal to the metal for 12 mind blowing laps around the 1km track in Oxfordshire. Sensational!

Availability: At least two dates per month throughout the year. Must be booked and taken by 31 October 2017. Weather: Driving is only ever cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow or ice) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Duration: Lasts for up to an hour and a half, with around 15 minutes in total out on the track. Numbers On Day: Briefings are held in groups. Expect to share the experience with approximately 30 participants and several other cars out on the track. Spectators: Unlimited numbers of spectators are welcome. Please note that animals are not allowed at the circuit, with the exception of guide dogs. Dress Code: Dress comfortably and wear trainers or flat-soled shoes. A helmet is provided. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age is 18 and maximum weight is 18 stone. Minimum height is 5′, maximum is 6’4”. A full British or international manual driving licence must be held for over 12 months and be produced on the day in order to participate. Other Info: When booking expect to be offered the choice of buying a collision damage waiver at £20 to £40 additional charge. Please note there is no obligation to purchase this optional waiver.
