Drive three incredible powerboats on high-octane powerboating experience! Take control of the fast, agile Thunderbolt inflatable catamaran, the exhilarating Honda racing powerboat and ride in the phenomenal 450 hp Jet Viper – a powerboat that can out manoeuvre any other craft on the water. Each boat is a completely different drive, but each is guaranteed to leave anyone smiling from ear to ear. Kick off with a safety briefing and an introduction to the three boats, then it’s onto the water for a full hour in each vessel, with instruction on cornering and racing technique, wave jumping and high-speed take-offs in the Thunderbolt and Honda, then a passenger ride in the Viper. End the session with a photograph during the debrief as a memento.

Availability: Weekend dates during the main season from May – September, plus selected Fridays around once a month. Please be aware that bookings are taken up to a maximum of three months ahead. Weather: This is a weather dependent activity. It’s essential to call the venue for a weather check between 5pm and 7pm the evening before the booking. Duration: Lasts for up to six hours, including safety briefings, 30 minutes driving time per person and debriefs. Please arrive up to half an hour prior to the start time as the boat can’t wait for latecomers. Numbers On Day: Share the experience with up to four others plus an instructor. Spectators: Spectators are welcome to wave you off from the shore. There are a number of restaurants and bars nearby within the marina. Dress Code: Dress warmly and bring waterproofs and a change of clothes. Bear in mind that there is a high wind-chill factor aboard the boat. Wear flat, non-slip shoes (e.g. trainers or deck shoes). An old pair of sunglasses/ski goggles are useful if it’s windy. Guidelines: From M27, exit J3 onto M271 following signs to ‘Waterfront’. With Ocean Village on your right, drive straight on, under bridge until you reach T junction with ‘The Chapel Arms’ ahead. Turn right, then right again at roundabout by St. Mary’s Stadium (into Belvidere Road). Pick up signposts for Shamrock Quay and turn right into William Street. From M3, exit J14 onto A33, then follow directions as above. Please telephone if you have any problems. Restrictions: Minimum age is 16. Minimum height is 5′. Maximum weight is 16st 7lbs.
